| Term              | Meaning                                                                                                   |

| Capsule           | The small dark bar at the top of your screen; Knosy's home.                                               |
| Context file      | A file a scope loads to give a session its context. Knosy shows its name and details, never its contents. |
| Context inventory | The list of context files a scope loads, shown whenever you pick a scope.                                 |
| Done              | A session whose latest turn finished. Its card stays until you dismiss it.                                |
| Exact jump-back   | Opening the exact conversation a session card points to, rather than just focusing the app.               |
| Expanded panel    | The capsule, opened: the priority session, the session list, and session start live here.                 |
| Host              | An app Knosy works with. Claude Code Desktop and Codex today; Claude Chat and Claude Cowork coming soon.  |
| Idle              | A session that's open with nothing running.                                                               |
| Needs you         | A session waiting on you: a permission, a question. Outranks every other state.                           |
| No project        | A Codex session started without a project folder.                                                         |
| Private           | The scope that's just you. Neutral, with no team color.                                                   |
| Prompt excerpt    | The short snippet of your latest prompt shown on a session card so you can tell sessions apart.           |
| Scope             | The context a session works in: Private, Team, or Space. Confirmed once per session, then never changes.  |
| Scope picker      | The panel where you confirm a session's scope, including when a first prompt is waiting for it.           |
| Session card      | Knosy's view of one conversation: host, scope, folder, state, and excerpt.                                |
| Space             | A team's more specific context, like a client or product area. Named as `Team / Space`.                   |
| Suggested scope   | The last scope you confirmed for the same host and folder, offered for one-click confirmation.            |
| Team              | A shared context you work in with others, with its own color that runs through the interface.             |
| Working           | A session that's processing a prompt.                                                                     |
