Your first session
Start a session with the right context, from Knosy or straight from Claude Code.
There are two ways to start. Both end the same way: a session whose very first answer already has the right context.
Start from Knosy
Open the capsule
Click the capsule at the top of your screen, or press Ctrl+Alt+K.
Choose your context
Pick Private, Team, or Space. When you pick a Team or Space, the context inventory shows exactly which context files come with it.
Pick the host and folder
Choose where the session should run and the project folder it should work in. Codex also works with No project.
Start
Knosy opens the host with your prompt and the confirmed context. The first response already knows where you're working.
Start from the host
Just open Claude Code or Codex and type your first prompt. With the automatic scope picker enabled, Knosy opens before the model answers:
- The picker appears with a 15-second countdown and suggests the last context you confirmed for that host and folder.
- Confirm your scope, or adjust it first. Interacting with Knosy removes the countdown.
- Focus returns to the host and the response continues with your context.
If you do nothing, the prompt continues with your Private context and Knosy shows a notice. If Knosy isn't running at all, your prompt goes through untouched, with no wait. Either way your prompt is never edited, and no question is ever posted into your conversation. Details in The scope picker.
