The capsule
Where Knosy lives on screen and how it behaves.
Knosy is a small dark capsule attached to the top edge of your screen. Collapsed, it shows session status at a glance. Expanded, it becomes the panel where you start sessions, review the one that needs you, and browse the full list.
When the capsule appears
The capsule shows itself when it has something to offer: a supported host is open, a session is working, or a session needs you. When no host is open and nothing is running, it disappears entirely.
When something fills the screen (a video, a presentation, a game), the capsule steps aside on that monitor. Your shortcut, a session that newly needs you, or a pending scope picker can still bring it up; it hides again when handled.
Which monitor, and where
The capsule follows your work: it sits on the monitor of the host you used last, and moves when your focus moves between monitors. Before any host is open it uses the monitor with your pointer. Prefer it fixed? Pin it to a monitor in Settings.
You can also drag it horizontally along the top edge. Each monitor remembers its own position, even across resolution changes.
Opening and closing

It also opens itself when a session newly needs you, or when a first prompt is waiting for its scope.
Click outside or press Esc to close it. The one exception: a scope picker that's holding a prompt stays open until the prompt is resolved.
The collapsed capsule never steals your keyboard focus: hovering only shows information, and typing keeps going wherever you were typing. Knosy also respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
The tray icon
The Knosy tray icon opens Settings, shows or hides the capsule, opens diagnostics, and quits the app.
